Recognition of Life Certificates
At Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support, we know how difficult it can be to experience the death of a baby at any gestation. We also know that if you experienced both early or late miscarriages, or an ectopic pregnancy, you may feel even more bereft that you had very little to show for your baby's existence. Currently, those babies delivered after 24 weeks receive a birth and/or death certificate. We are trying to bring a little bit of comfort to those who did not receive anything, and so we have designed a 'Recognition of Life' certificate.
We send these out free of charge* to those who have been devastated by the loss of a baby. They will be left blank so that you can fill in the details yourself. These are available in our online shop.
*We can only send these to those with a UK postal address.
