When you fill out a form on the website or make a donation to our charity, we are able to access some of your personal details, such as name, email and address. Additionally, when you place an order from our online store, we need to process your personal data to ensure that we can fulfil your order. You are responsible for disclosing this information to us. SPLS use a variety of social media platforms to raise awareness, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. Whilst identifiable personal information can be accessed, we make no use of this without the explicit permission of the individual. Should personal data be extracted from any social platform, this will not be done without consulting the individual/s first.

We ensure the security of any personal information we hold by using secure data storage technologies, like encryption and password protected devices.


Disclosure of personal data

Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support will not disclose any of your personal data to third parties without your explicit permission. The only exception to this may be if there is a legal obligation to do so. Our charity uses Paypal and’s online store. When using these to make a donation or order from us, these websites request your personal information. We only use this to fulfil your request and we do not pass it on to others. Once we no longer require the information, we remove it from our systems.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, you are able to access the personal data we hold about you. Where applicable, we will provide a written copy of the information we have on record within one month unless the request is numerous, in which case this may be extended to two months. SPLS will do everything possible to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
